Description
The BC45 Control Plate is set at 45° to follow the contour of the tongue. If a horse pushes against the bit with its tongue, the plate encourages it to draw back and tuck the chin in. Unlike a Dr Bristol, the plate doesn’t sit with its edge on the tongue. Full cheeks stop pinching and prevent the bit being pulled through the mouth, and help guide the head, which is useful for schooling.
